I am looking for wood for new outwales and was wondering if anyone knew any sources near Kingston Ontario? Plan A is Noahs in Toronto but if I can find a local source that would be nice.

Perhaps might depend on what you are looking for. If it were me (and I am just across the river from Kingston), I'd ping Dick Persson at Buckhorn Canoe Company. He's just a half-hour or so north or Peterborough.

Hi, I live south of Ottawa and get my wood for gunwales etc. from a company called The WoodSource in Manotick Station, ON. They have long green ash which works well but have other options as well. Here is their website https://wood-source.com
