St Lawrence Boat Works

Dan,
The metal builders plate located on the bow coaming is also present on the canoe.

The St Lawrence Boat Works history is very interesting. There is even a connection to Delta Airlines!
I began researching SLBW about 20 years ago.
I have ca. 1922 canoe that had an Ambercrombie & Fitch round plate on the deck (no.578 17). Dave Baker identified it as from SLBW. It is 17' long and still undergoing restoration!

I would appreciate any information that you might want to share about St Lawrence Boat Works. I would also like to see some photos of your canoe will it is being restored. I have some reproduction Whistle Wing decals if you are interested.
My canoe sent its entire life in Norfolk CT after it left SLBW.
