Thanks for the prompt response. Your help is truly appreciated along with all the info on WCHA! Its neat that build records are still available and having that info makes restoring the canoe a bit more exciting. I can only account for the canoe's last 50 years. Its in pretty rough shape as of today. It belonged to my grandfather, my dad and now me. I have no idea where grandpa bought it or when. I know personally that the canoe glides through the water effortlessly since as a kid I paddled it around a few times. Anyway, now comes the hardest part - deciding to restore it myself (inexperienced wrt canoe restoration) or have someone more experienced restore it. I'll take some time to access the canoes condition, read a few of the books mentioned here on WCHA and then make a choice. Again thanks for the info. Serial No. pictured below.
