Get your winter project out and launch it with the family during the Annual Father's Day Paddle. The extended forecast suggests Sunny and 75F for perfect paddling.

Sunday, June 15, 2014 – Father’s Day on the Sudbury and Concord Rivers. This has become an annual event, always fun for all and this year marks the tenth time we have done this. As before, we can meet at Sherman’s Bridge on the Lincoln/Sudbury line before 8:30 am and after a car shuttle we should be launching at 9:00 am. It is about an 8 mile run from the put in to the Old North Bridge in Concord. Bring a lunch and we will spend some time at the National Park in Concord. For those who may want to join in without doing the paddling portion, we usually arrive at the Old North near Noon. Contact John Fitzgerald for more information.

The weather report still looks great. I have tentatively lined up some coverage by the local newspaper. It would be awesome to have plenty of pretty boats. Maybe we can snag a few new members with some news coverage. If you haven't paddled in awhile consider throwing the family in the boat and joining us!
