Liberty Guideboats

Continuing the Tradition
Was wondering if anyone has heard of a guideboat builder from Vermont called Liberty Guideboats?

A quick Google search shows there was a Liberty Guide Boats in Florida owned by James Bradford, who previously was incorporated as Liberty Boat Works in Morrisville, Vermont... Out of business in 1990 according to the USCG MIC Database.

Don't know if this helps...

I own a Liberty Guideboat that I picked up in Beaver River Station, NY this past summer. It is a beautiful piece of workmanship, combining old construction techniques with modern materials and adhesives. The boat is light, about 60 lbs. for a 14'. It rows like a wisp on the water, extremely fast. I'm in Eagle River, WI. Feel free to email me if you'd like to discuss it further. rbinhood@hotmail.com
