Elgin

In my wonderings I found a listing for an Elgin 16 foot canoe, the listingdoes not have good pictures but it did have the photo below of the logo. Does anyone know what it is? or anything about that manufacturer?

Elgin was a store brand name, much the same as Craftsman is (was) for Sears in the US. Most of these canoes were built by the Huron builders, which will appear in many threads if you search the forums for Huron.
