Details needed

[Rod Tait (Orca Boats)]

Working on a Canadian Canoe (or so the decal says) and it has some aftermarket homemade seats (plywood no less). Looking for details on what type of seats it may have had. Slats, woven, rawhide?. There is no serial number and it is 15 footer.

Hi Rod. It is my understanding that Peterborough, Chestnut and Canadian Canoe company’s were all owned by the same so it most likely had hand caned seats. Prospector models usually had wooden slat seats.
