Does any one out there know where I might find some Canadian Canoe Co. thwart tags? I’m working on a CCC that had its tags removed sometime in the past. A set of them would be great, or even just one to replicate. Thanks for any help.

Michael -I'm fairly sure I have one here in the UK if you can't find one nearer. Funny - I was just emailing someone about thwart tags!

Thank you Sam. Even a good photo would help. Much appreciated.

Thank you Dan. That’s not bad. Might do the trick for replication. I’ve had this early CCC cedar strip for 13 years and finally decided to get at it. It seemed rough because the rails were coming loose, decks had the usual dropping problem, etc. but I pulled the canoe out and realized it’s in remarkably good condition overall. The hull has alternating woods, so it should be interesting when completed.
