Building a kayak from driftwood and scraps

Wooden Canoes are in the Blood
There is a very interesting photo essay entitled, "Building a kayak from driftwood and scraps" on the Cape Falcon Kayak site.
Simple tools are used very skillfully. These include, an axe, a knife (stuck in a block of wood to use like a drawknife), a steambox made from a piece of galvanized eavestrough downspout with an outboard engine gas can as the boiler! I'd like to see it complete with the rabbitskin covering!
