Build sheet info...

Wooden Canoe Maniac
Can someone tell me the width & height of the original Old Town 'build sheets'? At least, that's what I call them. I refer to the image you folks provide that shows the canoe's serial #, grade, model, dates for half built, filled, etc. I like to print these out to give folks in case they'd like to frame them.

It occurs to me that maybe the sheet size changed over the years. So the canoe I'm interested in now is Old Town 170448, 1960 era.

Each build card is about five by six and three quarters inches. This size has been fairly consistent since they were first introduced around 1906. They are stored in cedar boxes that each hold about 1000 records. See http://www.wcha.org/forums/index.php?threads/10494/ for some pictures of how the boxes of records look at the factory. I usually scale the card to fill a 8.5 by 11 inch page when I print one so it is easier to read. Let me know if you want more details.
