Avon, New York (near Rochester) to Falmouth, Maine (near Portland)?

    Is there anyone who can help get a 14 foot long canoe from Avon, New York (near Rochester) to Falmouth, Maine (near Portland)? Thanks,

    I'll be northbound from JFK July 2nd in a rental. If you still need the transport then I'll be happy to do it. Will need the pads and some rope or straps tho.

    I could pick it up in Avon and bring it up to Rochester and then meet someone that is headed East on 90 if that helps.
    Later this summer I will be headed towards Albany if there is no urgency to move it...
    No trips to Maine this year...I was there twice last year....

    I appreciate all of these kind offers but I'm going to pass on this canoe. It is not unusual so I expect that another will show up soon that would be an easier day trip. Thanks,
