Another 'ta-da' - An Ot 1939 Yankee

Howie

Wooden Canoe Maniac
Just finished another Old Town Yankee from 1939. Can't help myself from publishing pics. Not the fancy forked end of the stembands. Got too many canoes so it's posted on WCHA classifides.

very nice!
Is the problem too many canoes (I don't think that's possible) or not enough space and time for the canoes you've got (I know the feeling)?

O yeah... Not enough space. But every once & a while I pull some of the boys out for a family photo. Here's a shot of a 13' 50 Pounder, the 16' Yankee, and the 18' Otca/Guide I finished a few weeks ago. I wanted a pic of the difference between prow profiles to show someone who was interested in buying the 18' footer and figured a family photo was called for.

Great work, and great pics. I especially like the one showing the differences of the three prow profiles.
