12' W/C Canoe Identification Canada

I'm stumped, I can't ID this canoe, any help would be most appreciated. It was most likely made in Canada, possibly Western Canada.

About 11.5' long
About 34" wide
Single stern seat, appears to have been slatted wood, not caned nor laced

Could the holes in the gunwales shown in the additional pictures have been from mounting oarlocks for rowing?

Aha, oar locks could be it - excellent idea. I've been racking my brain for what could have been attached. I wonder if this could also tie in with the other mystery holes in the inwale across from one another, nearer the bow, possible some kind of brace or second thwart to lean against while rowing?

Some further information as I continue to try and figure out what / who / where / when this canoe originates:

• The decks are held in place with Robertson screws (square screws which originated in Canada in 1909).
• Under the decks there are metal bands / braces which are attached to the outside of the inwales
• Reproduction of what the original seat probably looked like.
