I was wondering if anyone has tried the 50 year guaranteed 3/4" OSB flooring that is out for SoF forms? It has a 6 month guaranty uncovered, rain or shine. With 3 coats of spar varnish, weather shouldn't be a problem. I have, and always have had, a problem with ply splitting when putting in screws, even with a pilot hole drilled. I have over half a sheet of the OSB that was left over from a floor repair job and seriously thinking about trying it. But if others have already tried and it was a complete failure there's no sense in wasting time.
