Not sure what i have. My Dad's old wooden canoe that has been in storage for over 30 years. It was canvas covered at one time and my father covered it with fiberglass back in the 50's. On the inside front and rear it is marked 18 with 987 next to it. Trying to ID the canoe. Not sure if it is a Old Town or not. Any help would be great! rusty

The heart shaped decks, extra wide thwarts (with a straight edge for a seat back), and untapered ribs indicate your canoe was probably built by one of the Charles River area builders, such as Robertson, Arnold, etc. It is certainly not an Old Town, though!
