    Hello Rick,
    # 142550 was assigned to a 17' Otca in CS (Common Sense) grade. It had open spruce gunwales, ash seats, decks & thwarts and a keel. It was painted dark green. It was delivered to Buffalo NY in November 1945. A notation on the back of the build sheet indicated that in 1976 is had migrated to Marysville Washington - a heck of a paddle from Buffalo. The build record is attached.

Scans of approximately 210,000 records were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. Additional information about the project to preserve these records is available at if you want more details. It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
