Curious about Wooden Canoes

I purchased this canoe a while ago. In my enthusiasm and lack of expertise I construed the weave of fiberglass as the weave of canvass. Now I would like to know what it is before I decide what to do with it. I wish it was canvass.

Length 11' 2"
Width (outside of gunnel to outside of gunnel) 37 3/4"

Notes: The thwarts and pulleys are later additions. The seat (and there were two), and the yoke appear original.

There is no serial #. The inner gunnel connects to the decks in a distinctive manner (see photo). The copper or brass bolt that connects the inner and out gunnel has a simple head on the outside of canoe. On the inside of canoe the head has a washer around it.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Thank you, Chris Gilgun

Regarding Photos, I obviously do not know how to post them.
For further clarification, The inner gunnel inserts into the sides of the deck for about 1 & 1/2" to make a clean edge for the outer gunnel to attach. It is a clean and solid attachment. The seat is a simple slat seat. The interior of the canoe appears as a normal cedar ribbed and sheathed canoe.

another attempt to post photo.
