The third annual Upper Great Lakes Regional Assembly is slated for Aug. 16-17. Last year's assembly in Marquette MI boasted 70 wooden canoes on the green, along with those goofy canoe people that have a passion for them. It was a great event! Thanks so much to Mike and Mike and everyone else who made it happen, and thanks to everyone who participated by attending. Can't get enough of wooden boats and great folks (and their dogs!). I'll post a few pictures. I hope someone posts the shoreline salute after the paddle-by!
