    Craig Kitchen and his BN Morris are being featured in a series of shows on "Discovering", which is a local sporting program. Craig did a great job. This is a fantastic opportunity to promote the WCHA and the restoration of old canoes... I suspect we'll see some come out of barns and boathouses! The canoe segment comes in at 12.12 in the show, but the fish-part is interesting too:

    The very last shot on the show is of the thwart on my 15 foot Morris, with the metal tag that says BN Morris/Builder/Veazie, ME. Otherwise, the show stars Craig's 16 foot Morris sailing canoe.

    The Morris is the one that turned up as a result of the Upper Great Lakes Regional assembly in Marquette last July. Chris Pearson and I were crawling all over it after Craig found it. A man walked into the Upper Great Lakes Regional Assembly last July and asked if anyone wanted an old canoe. It's a pretty interesting story. Good video too.
