Recently built at the Great Lakes Traditional Arts Gathering on Drummond Island in Michigan's Upper Peninsula....at 16'....this is a very unique and specialized canoe in this day and age. It took one day to collect the materials on the Island and Two days to build and launch the canoe.

Very cool - I bet Patty would love an article about this for Wooden Canoe.

Followed that on facebook, it was fantastic and the journal would do well to feature it.
