Rabbit plane. Pricey little bugger but it enables close, butted wood removal not possible with other planes since the blade extends to the very edge of the plane body on each side. I use mine a lot.
I find that syringes are handy for squirting glue and epoxy into cracks. Also for applying bedding compound to the backside of stem bands. Jamestown has them.
