Serial Number Searches Requested

I have (2) Old Town canoes that I would like to request the build records for:

1. 109185 - Believe it is a 16' OTCA from around 1931
2. 167835 - 18' sailing canoe with all the sail rig from 1950's

Welcome, the build record for the Old Town with serial number 109185 is available at http://www.wcha.org/forums/index.php?threads/880/ from a previous request. The one with number 167835 is an 18 foot long, Guide model with a keel. It was built between June and November, 1958. The exterior paint color was G. S. (Guide's Special) green. It was shipped on May 29th, 1959 to Coos Bay, Oregon. A scan showing this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.

It is possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. The sail rig is not mentioned in the build record so that was probably added after it left the factory. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
