We have launched the Seliga Canoe Enthusiasts web site . The site has been created as a tribute to Joe Seliga and his late wife, Nora, and their Seliga canoes. It provides a "community gathering place" to share information and wonderful experiences related to the Seligas and Seliga canoes. Please email your Seliga photos and stories to the email address noted on the web site.

Thanks for the compliments. It's quite easy to put a nice site together whan you have something special like the Seligas and Seliga canoes as the focus. Everyone, please keep emailing your photos and information to the email address on the web site and we'll include them on the site. Thanks again!

One of the great pleasures of the 2004 WCHA Assembly was sitting with a cup of coffee and chatting with Joe. While his boats are beautiful, the man behind them is even more so. Thanks for posting this link.

Mike, You are definitely right about Joe! My son and I had the opportunity to have dinner with him recently - truly a joy!
