As I'm 82 and widowed, an 18ft sailing canoe is more than I can handle.
Any advise on how I can sell for the best price and to someone who will appreciate it.

You could join the WCHA and would then be entitled to post your canoe for sale on this website in the "member classifieds" section and would be entitled to a free classified in the Wooden Canoe Journal. If you don't wish to join, you could contact the editor of the Wooden Canoe Journal and put in a paid add. The Journal is likely one of the very best places to find an interested buyer.

I suggest joining. You'd be supporting a great organization and get an included subscription to our Journal. It's a real bargain.
