Congratulations, the Old Town with serial number 139696 is a 15 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Ojibway model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, mahogany decks, ash thwarts in place of seats, and a keel. It was built between March and June, 1944. The original exterior paint color was aluminum. It shipped on June 27th, 1944 to Sumneytown, Penna. See

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe.
