Paint transitions on a two-colour canoe

Just wondering how other people do it for those with canoes of more than one color. Just tape and peel? Or would you do something like grind the paint down and repolish so that the paint exists all on the same level?

Yep, that works.

Remember to wait a week between retaping for the second color so you do't damage the first color paint. If you jazz it up somehow you can always go over the transition line with complimentary line tape from car detail store.
