Paddle grade Sassafras

    Looking for some paddle grade Sassafras. It's not something we see a lot of in NH. Something in the 8-9" width in 5/4. Of course straight and clear grain would be nice.

    Try a search in Ohio. I believe about 15 years ago I got some from a lumber yard out that way. I know of Sassafras tree farms out that way. Shaw and Tenny has some in stock. Not sure if they will sell to you though.

    Don't think he's active on the forums but Ed Moses has sold to some of the members in the past, I've still got some he brought to assembly one year. He would likely be able to locate some, you should be able to find him in the directory.
