Better late than never? I stopped by the factory this week and had a chance to look up some records. The Old Town with serial number 97313 is a 16 foot long, AA (or top) grade, square stern model with open mahogany gunwales, 48 inch mahogany decks, mahogany thwarts, mahogany seats, a keel, outside stems, a floor rack, and sponsons. It was built between January, 1928 and July, 1929. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on June, 7th, 1930 to South Lincoln, Maine. The back side of this record and additional sheet shows that it came back for repairs on May 9th, 1932, May 9th, 1935, June 5th, 1937, and March 30th, 1944.
