hello, I’m looking to determine what material an Old Town Camper that I am purchasing is made of. The serial number is XTC74172D797. Any help would be much appreciated!

It appears to have shipped in 1997 based on the hull identification number that you provided. The information at http://www.usps.org/national/safety/HIN/HIN.pdf can help you decode this number. The Camper model page below from the 1999 catalog below describes it as being "Made of Old Town's rugged Oltonar/Royalex" if that helps. Good luck,
