I want to save a small bit of canvas that has a design painted on it. I might not get to it for a while. Any thoughts on the best way to store it until needed? Also, any thoughts on how to transfer the old design onto the new canvas? Thanks!

The best way to store the canvas is to keep it dry. This is essentially an oil painting so they will last hundreds of years with minimal care. Digital images can be the best way to transfer the design to a new canvas. A projector will display the old design directly on the new canoe so you can trace the pattern. Another alternative is to print out the design in life size and cut out patterns to use as templates. This looks like a wonderful design,
