Snow got you down? Does your back hurt from the shovel?

Well, the first sign of Spring is coming soon!

The Norumbega Chapter Winter Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Hale Reservation in Westwood, MA, starting at noon and running until 5:00pm. We have reserved the Trading Post Lodge, the same as last year. With luck the weather will be good, if we have to postpone the meeting Steve Lapey will send out an e-mail with the details.

The meeting will start with the usual lunch, we will provide beef stew and sandwiches along with coffee, tea and soft drinks. If you can bring a salad or dessert item to round out the menu, please do! Also, be sure to bring along anything that you think other members would be interested in seeing, either current projects or pictures, etc. We have just received a DVD from Greg Nolan and Deborah Gardner featuring all of the current canoe builders. What we need is some sort of projection device so we can show it at the meeting. If you can help out on this, please let us know.

To get to the Hale Reservation, take Exit 16B off Route 128 (I-95) and follow Route 109 West to your fourth right, Dover Road. Take the third right off Dover Road onto Carby Street. Continue on Carby Street an 1/8 of a mile to the main entrance. The Trading Post is on the right, about a mile into the Reservation, parking is on the left.

We hope to see you there!
