Everyone is invited to meet for lunch at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 24 in the Scarborough Cabela’s café, just off exit number 42 from the Maine Turnpike. Please bring any model canoes that you have and contact Bob Bassett if you have any questions.

The Portland Museum of Art's Biennial show includes a birchbark canoe by Steve Cayard. He is giving a gallery talk titled Exploring the Legacy of the Wabanaki Birchbark Canoe at noon on Friday, April 6th. See https://www.portlandmuseum.org/events/2018-pma-biennial-artist-talk-steve-cayard-exploring-legacy-wabanaki-birchbark-canoe for more details.

I hope to see you at one or both of these events,

    Benson
