Jim Jones who works for the Minnesota Indian First Council, is teaching a community outreach class building a 16' Ojibwe birchbark for the next couple of weeks at the Leech Lake Tribal College in Cass Lake, Mn. It is open to all to come help or just observe. I was in the area visiting my folks heard about the project, stopped in and got hooked. I was supposed to head back to Idaho today but can,t pass up the opportunity so will be here for another week. I will post pictures as we proceed. If any of you are in the area stop by.
