I have been contacted by a curious buyer of this older miniature or sample paddle (below), 30" in length, asking whether I could be helpful in identifying its origin. Have to say that I am not really certain of its actual maker, although I do have some gut feelings. Just wondering whether anyone out there would care to offer some thoughts???

There do not appear to be any markings which would provide a clue. However, looking at the grip, with its flat top and triangular shape, it reminds me of pieces mad by Ark, and possibly Beaver; perhaps Indian Head.

    Any other suggestions??? pad3.JPG pad2.JPG pad3.JPG pad1.JPG pad3.JPG pad2.JPG pad1.JPG
