Kirby paints

Wow, talk about customer service!

George Kirby just called me to discuss mixing Chestnut Gray for a Chestnut canoe I'm currently restoring. I had emailed the mix coding from Mike Elliot's book This Old Canoe and Kirby's is willing to mix me a quart.

I'll supply photos later this summer after the Kirby's filler cures and the primer and color goes on.

Here's the subject canoe on the rack curing along with a couple of completed canoes below.

What's the make and color of the paint on the finished canoe on the right?

Tim, i did not paint that canoe. I bought it with the understanding that it has Rustoleum porch paint on it. Its the same canoe as my posting avatar- on Mud Pond, St. Regis Canoe area, Adirondacks.

The other canoe is Kirby’s Grayling Gray in satin.
