We had our first monthly meeting on Saturday. We got together in Cadiz for a pot luck dinner and discussions on favorite canoes and canoeing techniques. With the threat of icy roads the attendance was light but obviously dedicated. The food was wonderful and apparently getting canoe nerds to talk about anything canoe related isn't difficult, it's getting them to stop thats tricky. Mark Zalonis brought along his collection of axes and several books on the Hubbard expeditions for our perusal.
