This from the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad's annual series of books titled "In the Maine Woods" and it has been a great resource for my research. This appears to be one of the first places that the Old Town Canoe Company advertised as shown at http://forums.wcha.org/knowledgebase/Manufacturers:Old+Town+Canoe+Company for example. Many of these are available from Google Books including the ones at: https://books.google.com/books?id=swoqAAAAYAAJ from 1901, https://books.google.com/books?id=jmfzAAAAMAAJ from 1902, https://books.google.com/books?id=4UY9AAAAYAAJ from 1903, https://books.google.com/books?id=Ha7JQAAACAAJ from 1904, https://books.google.com/books?id=nUw9AAAAYAAJ from 1905, https://books.google.com/books?id=zORCAAAAIAAJ from 1927, and many others. Fun stuff,

    Benson
