My name is Jeff I am an arborist living in Kansas. I will be building a wood canoe to paddle but I am searching for the best plans for a wood fiberglass square backed freighter canoe. Like this http://www.nor-west.ca/html/canoe/canot_labrador_en.htm .

I have found these plans http://www.sandypointboatworks.com/mikmaq_freighter_canoe.html but was hoping to find plans for somthing more like the Nor-Wester Labrador.

Any help or suggestions on other plans, cost, tools or what ever would be greatly apprecciated.
