Good evening from a boatman in Ann Arbor, Mi. I have had the pleasure of repairing a number of boats including rowing shells, canoes, & wood kayaks.
I have just completed my first canvas covered canoe - a 16 foot OTCA.
My thanks to the many contributors. You are both an inspiration and a great help.
My thanks to Rollin Thurlow, for his book and the materials!
The photo attached is the finish canoe! Only took 7 coats to get the finish right.
