Ever use Cotton Ripstop?

    Douglas Kestell Curious about Wooden Canoes

    I have been wondering if anyone has used cotton ripstop fabric instead of the typical #10 duck canvas to skin a canoe.

    This seems line a reasonable application, but am wondering if there are pitfalls that someone else has experienced.
