Entering WCHA Member Number on vB User Profile

Just registered today. Also just purchased my first-time WCHA membership today. I did them separately, however. I did not use the "Create a user account at the same time?" option when purchasing the membership in the WCHA store.

My e-receipt shows my phone number as my WCHA membership number, but vBulletin will not permit me to enter more than the first five digits into my user profile.

Am I to expect a different member number via snail mail? Is this the correct way to "link" my vBulletin user ID to my WCHA membership (for purposes of posting classifieds, for example)?

You will get your membership number when Annie mails your new member packet. Subsequently, your membership number will be printed on the envelope in which Wooden Canoe is mailed.

Entering the number on this site doesn't do anything. Flagging users as current WCHA members still requires manual intervention.
