The final product of the two Deliverance canoe bows joined together is reminiscent of the Pushme-Pullyou animal in the Dr. Doolittle kid's books.

A $5,000 minimum bid for a 1970s canoe that has been cut in half and fiberglassed is a bit much for me, even if it was used in a popular movie. I have gotten no response to my request for pictures of the serial numbers. Others have offered fake Deliverance canoes in the past but the discussion appears to have been in a prior version of this forum that was lost in a crash many years ago. I will not be bidding on this one but would like to know if anyone here does. Good luck,

    Benson
