What type of canoe does this cedar strip resemble?
I was looking in one of my old boxes and found some cardboard templates that I lofted off someones plans years ago. So I decided to go for it. I am not one for cedar strip canoes!! But well I built it.. Hope all you people don't mind.
Anyway I can't figure out what it resembles if any?
52" long x 3 1/2 " deep at midships and goes to 5" high to stems. The ends of the canoe are very narrow.
Maybe its the Atkinson traveler ? Not sure.

Yeah, it does look somewhat like a Traveler. They have a fairly distinctive stem/sheer profile. If you can find a good straight-on sideview photo of one, you can compare them and see how close it really is. Gonna make one for your other foot?

Canoe snow shoes.
water walkers.

The thing I want to do is to use one as a weather vain , mount it upside down
on a small pole that will turn.
