31 Days left until the opening of Canoecopia..........March 11-13, 2005.
Canoecopia is touted as the world's largest paddlesports exposition. Put on by Rutabaga and held annually in March (11-13) at the Alliant Center in Madison, Wisconsin (the birthplace of the WCHA), there are more plastic canoes and kayaks than you can shake a stick at, but wood canoes are well represented. WCHA Wisconsin Chapter operates a booth given to us to show off our passions. We will be building a strip canoe this year at the show, and generally try to have a project canoe to work on in the public eye. I also hope to have the new WCHA video playing continuously.

Professional wooden canoe builders also have booths at the show as well. Stewart River Boat Works, Bourquin Boats, Kedros Canoes, Dragonfly Canoe Works, Aaron York, Ferdy Goode, Fletcher Canoes, and American Traders to name just a few of the past participants.

The speakers and slide shows are worth the price of admission alone. Watch this website for details. www.canoecopia.com
If you plan to spend the night in Madison, make your reservations asap!!
Stop in the booth and say HI!
