After obtaining a Big Wolf OT(centerboard sailing canoe), I got impatient and wanted to work on something on it inside where it's warm. So, after refitting the centerboard trunk and fixing some rot/cracked parts, as well as trueing up some dimensions, I finished that as well as the seats, thwarts and mast step. The mast step wasn't original, neither was the mast stretcher on the forward seat. It was also missing the aft thwart. This canoe came out of Prospect Point Camp from Upper Saranac Lake in the Adirondaks and has a very special story. That, you'll have to wait for in an article in the journal sometime. Here are some before shots...The centerboard is solid 3/16" brass.

Well of course it was easy for Chris to make it beautiful -- these things are full-sized! I'm impressed, nonetheless.

I've seen his work up close and in person, not this project but others. I can admiringly say his work is good enough to be resented by us all.

Wow, it probably didn't look that good when it shipped from the factory! Great job,

You seem to find old beautiful canoes and in your way make them more beautifuller. (Is that a word?)
