Brian Rickman Curious about Wooden Canoes

I'm planning to do a kids program (or two) at the 2012 Assembly. My current thought is to do a simple wood carving project. I will provide carving knives, wood, and instructions. If more then five kids sign-up for the workshop, I'm going to need some adult assistants to keep things safe.

Would you like to join me? I'd be happy to provide private wood carving lessons at Assembly (before the kids workshop) for any volunteers.

I have PM'd Brian to discuss what he is proposing due to potential issues, including capability/competence, safety/liability, etc.
