Benson, Dan, Al, Rick et al,
While doing some research about a particular Hanmer Guideboat, I visited with Chris Woodward, who currently owns Hanmer's old shop in Saranac Lake NY and still builds beautiful, traditional construction guide boats. Chris had an Otca with outside stems in his shop and I offered to trace the build record for him.

For those keeping track, it was shipped to Saganaw Mi on St. Patrick's day (March 17th) 1947. 16' Otca in CS grade, open spruce gunwales, keel and outside stems. It was dark green. There was a verbal inquirey about the boat in 1976 from a William Burke, Mastic Beach NY. Records attached.
