If anyone is catching this series on Amazon Prime, be sure to check out the canoes in Season 2, Episode 4. The episode is filmed in the Catskills and you can see several red wood and canvas canoes. Two were built by Steve Lapey and he also contributed a red Chestnut. Mrs. Maisel is seen being rowed around in a Lowell's Boat Shop dory.
