1923 Old Town Canoe

The Old Town canoe with serial number 76033 is a 16 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Ideal model with red western cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks, mahogany thwarts, mahogany seats, half ribs, and a keel. It was built between January and June, 1923. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It was shipped on July 9th, 1923 to Sugar Hill, Hampshire. It was returned for repairs on October 22nd, 1963 from Lisbon, New Hampshire but was taken back on December 10th, 1963 without any work being done as noted on the back side of the card.
