Want to purchase, a Spalding made “Spalding River Skiff, Canoe & Steam Launch Co.” canoe or skiff.  These were made in Clayton and Ogdensburg, NY from 1893 - 1905.  They should be trademarked with a metal badge bearing the aforementioned trade name.

20 Ft Templeton canoe

Templeton canoe

This gorgeous wood and canvas Templeton canoe is in excellent condition.  It was originally purchased in 1983 and has been recently reconditioned by Jerry Stelmok at Island Falls Canoe Company. It now has new canvas, a fresh coast of varnish and new brass hardware.  The canoe has been donated to Maine Rivers.

16 Foot wood canvas canoe, brand new, hand built. Ribs and planking are northern white cedar. Decks and rails are cherry. A number 10 canvas is applied to the exterior with a high quality marine filler to make a waterproof seal. Marine paint applied to exterior. Spar varnish interior. These canoes weigh approximately 60#. Easily managed for transporting and portage.

1918 BN Morris, Restored 17' Canoe

This is a fully restored BN Morris 17'  Cedar/Canvas canoe with serial number 16433.  It is a Sport Model with 24” Torpedo decks and all Mahogany top wood, and a very rare find.  It was manufactured in Veazie Maine about 1918.   Katherine Kloss has written a book, The Morris Canoe, which is available thru the WCHA
